For customers who can speak Mandarin, it is also fine to send inquiry or pose question in Chinese. However, please allow us to spend a day or two to work on the inquiry before sending out the reply. Please understand.

There are some countries where may put an embargo on importing Kyudo goods, even they are categorized as sports equipment. In that case, cancellation is acceptable. However, we suggest you to check with local customs before placing orders.

Import tariff rates differ from country to country. Based on the product total amount, it could be around 3％～10％ of the Customs duty and consumption tax. Please check and confirm with local Customs before placing order. Please note that no cancellation is acceptable because of the Customs duty issue.

Alteration of invoice amount or product names are violation of Import/Export regulations and relevant international regulations so we are afraid we can not comply to such a request.

We can assure the products exported are as good as packed.
However, there are some cases that products missing when clearing Customs.
In that case, customers may ask the international courier for compensation since all goods are insured by international courier. So, please contact the local staff for related procedures. Thank you.

We will send overseas customers the photos of products packed before sealing the cartons.
After checking the photos of products packed and verifying any product was sent by mistake,
We will make up and send the correct one right away.
And we will of course cover the shipping charge for the replaced products.

All Kyudo products will be shipped via EMS, except Yumi (bow). 
※No other shipping methods are available. Please understand. Yumi will be sent via TNT, international courier.
In the case of orders including Yumi inside, all goods will be sent via TNT.
※We are not able to split order and ship it via EMS and TNT at the same time.
One order can be only shipped to one indicated recipient/address via single shipping method.

We do not charge any handling fee when customers pay by credit card.
However, banks in certain countries will charge handling fee for overseas shopping.

Yes, we are afraid so as JPY 4000 will be charged by store’s bank whenever there is international wire transfer into shop's account. So, we have no choice but to ask customers to cover this JPY 4000 handling charge and our on-line shop system will automatically add this amount into the final total.

Yes, 2 percent of handling cost will be claimed for duty free purchase.

We are afraid duty free is for overseas customers whose shipping address is outside of Japan and order placed through our on-line shop suizan miyabi international only. In other words, for export only.

As there are several manufacturers for this product, the same size number from different makers do not necessary mean size will be the same. 【size table】

Formally, there is no long sleeves Kyudo Uwagi.
The proper sleeve length of Kyudo top is right around the elbow.

In Kyudo, the very original form is practicing in Kimono.
Practicing Kyudo in Kimono has nothing to do with practitioner’s experience, rank or title.
It is fine to practice in kimono as a personal choice and preference.

In case of wearing Kimono, it is preferable for man to wear Shimabakama(striped hakama) and for woman to wear black or navy blue. It is recommended that practitioners should dress properly to exercise Kyudo practice for both genders. And color or types of Kyudo wear has no correlation with Kyudo ranks or titles.

Yes, please note that they are different from American or European sizes. Please note that the fit tabi size should be foot size, not shoe size.

In Japan, the formal Tsuru wa (string loop) is red for the top one and white for the lower end, to symbolize the sun and moon. So, the color is the same for different sizes of tsuru. For synthetic Tsuru, there are various colors manufactured. They are done so because it is more efficient for production lines to accelerate production. Tsuru sold in our on-line shop, such as asatsuru and kouzan-miyabi (向山-雅) are all in red and white only for all sizes.

It will depend on the Yumi size, Yumi draw weight, tsuru materials such as hemp or synthetic as well as the weight of Ya (arrow) used.

Synthetic tsuru are made mainly with aramid fiber, which is very powerful synthetic fiber. There are 3 kinds of synthetic fibers used to produce tsuru; they are Zylon, Technora and Kevlar.

Generally, all Tsuru can be used to practice Kyudo for TakeYumi users. But, there is concern that Tsuru made with Zylon series have strong vibration and powerful impact on Yumi. And they may cause the damage to the Yumi. So Zylon ones are not advised for TakeYumi users. Tsuru made with Technora would be a preferable choice.

To our understanding, many carbon Yumi users are pursuing a higher arrow speed. For that reason, we would Zylon Tsuru. Carbon Yumi users can find the following tsuru on our on-line shop.

We suggest those ones with comparatively fair prices and also advise users that they should replace new tsuru more frequently. It would be better to replace a new tsuru after shooting approximately 800 shots.
And the practice frequency should be taken into consideration when choosing tsuru.

Yes. Other than a synthetic tsuru, we will also give customer one cotton Yumi bag as well.

Basically, all Yumi sold in our store are with 3 rattan wrapped. Please understand.

Because of the export restriction, we are unable to ship rokusunnobi to countries outside of Japan.

Of course. However, we suggest 2015 would be preferable to practice with Yumi over 12kg draw weight.

Yes, Ya is originally fletched with feathers. So, fletched feather Ya would be a better choice.

It is possible we can choose a best fit Kake if customers provide hand scan file.
But we can only provide this service to customers who provide hand scan file fulfilled the following conditions

File type: JPEG
Data size: Above 500 KB and below 2MB
Rulers:
1.Please place two rulers when scanning your hand.
Please place a white paper under the transparent rulers and do not use metal one.
2. One ruler above the hand and one on the right side (placed like L).
Please make sure your hand is wide open and place your middle finger in parallel to the ruler on the right.
And please place your middle finger tip on the same horizontal line to the ruler 0 the right side.
※Please make sure the file is clear enough to see your finger and palm shape.
Hand scan file in color will be preferable.
※Please save the file with your name and your height..(ie. Suizan175)
